INDIANAPOLIS — Construction is moving forward on the Circle City Industrial Complex campus in downtown Indianapolis, according to Teagen Development. The new facility will provide spaces for around 30 tenants.
"We know there are plenty of people, especially in our neighborhood, who have been anxious to see 1011 Mass finished and open," said Larry Jones, president of Teagen Development. "We're thrilled that that goal is in sight and that we will be able to offer such great local businesses to our community."
The building, located at 1011 Massachusetts Ave., will focus on local businesses, restaurants, retail, and office space. It will also provide an event center for live performances, corporate events, weddings, and more.
Eight local businesses have committed to the building that is set to open in the fall of 2024.
The businesses that have committed include:
- Bike People
- Daisy Bar
- Flags for Good
- Legacy Tokyo
- MVMT House
- Optical Retail
- Salt & Ash Market
- Snapdragon Salon and Art Collective
"There are so many great neighborhoods around it, and they deserve great local options. We just want to add to that," Jon Rangel, owner of Daisy Bar and La Margarita, said. "Daisy Bar is for our community."
Negotiations remain underway for additional tenants.
