INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot on the near northwest side of the Circle City Sunday morning.
According to IMPD, when officers made it to the scene in the 2900 block of North Warman Avenue, they located a victim outside of a residence with injuries consist with at least one gunshot wound. The victim, who was later identified as an adult male, was pronounced deceased shortly police found him.

IMPD reported that it does not have a suspect in custody at this time, and the cause of the shooting remains under investigation. Officers will be talking to neighbors and community members in an attempt to gather more information.
The Marion County Coroner's Office will release the decedent's name after his family has been properly notified of his death.
