INDIANAPOLIS — A pedestrian was struck and killed Saturday afternoon in a hit-and-run incident on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at 12:29 p.m. officers were dispatched to W 71st Georgetown Rd. on a report of an unconscious person.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The IMPD fatal crash investigation will investigate.
