Rogue peacock found by Westfield police

WESTFIELD, Ind. — Is anyone in central Indiana missing their pet peacock? It may be in Hamilton County.

According to a social media post on Thursday from the Westfield Police Department, officers on patrol in the 2600 block of Lord Murphy Drive have found a rogue colorful bird that may be looking for its owner.

"Soooooo…… anyone missing a peacock?" the department wrote.

The area where the peacock was found, police said, is near the intersection 151st Street and Town Road.

As of right now Westfield PD is looking to find the owner of the peacock. For more information, call the non-emergency dispatch number at (317) 773-1282.

No other information was immediately provided by Westfield PD.
