Officials with the Kokomo Police Department said they located the vehicle they were searching for in relation to this investigation.
"We want to thank the public for assistance in this investigation," an update from the department read. "This case remains under investigation by the Kokomo Police Department Criminal Investigation Section."

KOKOMO, Ind. -- The Kokomo Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred earlier this month northeast of downtown Kokomo and asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle that could potentially have been involved.
According to a news release from the department, Kokomo police officers responded to the area of Ohio and Richmond Streets in reference to a motor vehicle accident at around 3:18 p.m. on May 5.
As officers were in route to the location, they were told that an individual in the car had been shot. When they arrived, the release said they found 21-year-old Marshon Burch with an apparent gunshot wound in the driver's seat of the vehicle.
According to the release, first responders from the Kokomo Fire Department were called to the scene to remove Burch from the vehicle. He later died from his gunshot wound.
During an initial investigation, they found that Burch was in the vehicle with two other individuals, who were able to remove themselves from the vehicle after the crash. The release said both individuals told police that they did not know anything about the incident or why it occurred.
Surveillance video later obtained by investigators showed that a Chevrolet Blazer in the area of Ohio and Richmond Streets at around 3:18 p.m. on May 5. The vehicle reportedly had black trim and wheels, tinted windows and a sticker on the lower driver's side portion of the rear window. Officials said they do not know if this particular vehicle was involved in the shooting and/or crash.
Investigators are asking the public for help identifying the owner and/or the driver of the Blazer. Anyone with information is asked to call the Kokomo Police Department at (765) 456-7017.
