JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. — A Whiteland police chase Wednesday night that spanned several towns along I-65 ended with the arrest of an Indianapolis 16-year-old.
According to police, officers with the Whiteland Police Department arrested a 16-year-old boy from Indy on Wednesday after a police chase went through towns including Whiteland, Franklin, Amity, Edinburgh and Taylorsville. Police believe it was a joy-ride scenario.
Police confirmed to FOX59/CBS4 that stop sticks were eventually deployed on Interstate 65 northbound near Edinburgh to stop the chase
Two 16-year-olds, both from Indy, were found inside the car. The passenger in the car was released while the driver was arrested and taken to the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center.
