MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man out on parole for past sex crimes has been arrested and charged with four felonies after an investigation into child pornography that depicted sex with animals.

Jeffery Wayne Campbell, 31, was released from prison on parole in April after being convicted on several child molestation charges. He got a lesser sentence in part because a judge said his good family relationships could lead to rehabilitation.
Now, Campbell has been arrested again on felony child porn and bestiality charges.
According to Indiana State Police, a search warrant was served Wednesday morning in the 2000 block of W. Woodmont Drive following an investigation by Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that began on May 8 after members received a tip about Campbell.
Various police agencies including ISP, SWAT, ICAC and IDOC helped serve the warrant, which resulted in Campbell's arrest. The 31-year-old Muncie resident was then booked into the Delaware County Jail on the following charges:
- Possessing Child Porn Depicting Bestiality – Level 4 Felony
- Possessing Child Pornography of a Child Under 12 Years Old – Level 5 Felony
- Possession of Child Pornography – Level 6 Felony
- Bestiality – Level 6 Felony
- Warrant for Parole Violation
- "Campbell was released in April 2024 on a sex crime related conviction," ISP said.
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, online court records have not been updated to show an initial hearing date in Campbell's case.
No other information was immediately provided by police. FOX59/CBS4 has reached out for additional court documents. For more information on the ICAC Taskforce, click here.
