KOKOMO, Ind. -- Kokomo police arrested a man wanted by Oklahoma authorities for murder and other felony charges Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Kokomo Police Department executed a search warrant out of Okfuskee County Oklahoma, shortly after 10 a.m. at a residence located on the 1100 block of E. Taylor Street as part of a collaborative investigation to locate and apprehend 31-year-old Demarcus Williams of Granada, Mississippi.
KPD said its criminal investigators had been working alongside the U.S. Marshals from Indiana and Oklahoma to find and apprehend Williams on an outstanding arrest warrant for felony charges of murder, conspiracy and robbery with a dangerous weapon. KPD's SWAT Team and Negotiations Team also responded to the residence to assist.

Williams was detained without incident and brought to the Howard County Criminal Justice Center where he will be extradited to Oklahoma.
KPD was assisted at the scene by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, U.S. Marshals Service and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.
