RICHMOND, Ind. — A bicyclist was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries after being struck by an SUV in Richmond.
The Richmond Police Department said the incident occurred at approximately 5:57 p.m. on Sunday in the 300 block of National Road West.
Investigators believe the 61-year-old bicyclist was attempting to cross National Road West when he was struck by the SUV.
The 80-year-old driver of the SUV stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
At this time, no arrests have been announced in relation to the incident.
