INDIANAPOLIS – Separate incidents involving vehicles that crashed into buildings kept emergency responders busy overnight.
The first incident happened just before 2 a.m. in the 6400 block of W. 34th Street. A car reportedly crashed into a nursing home on the west side.
Video showed emergency vehicles responded to the scene at Northwest Healthcare Center. It appeared the building sustained some damage.
Just after 3 a.m., a car crashed into a home in the 4100 block of Rockville Road. Video from the scene showed significant damage to part of the house.
Crews pulled a white Nissan Altima out of the residence and towed it away. A FOX59/CBS4 photographer saw a man in handcuffs.
A police report indicated police arrested a 43-year-old man on charges of resisting law enforcement, leaving the scene of a property damage crash and unlawful carrying of a handgun.
Police recovered a weapon from the scene.
Police also responded to a third crash around 3 a.m. on the west side involving a stolen vehicle.
The incidents remain under investigation.
