WAYNE COUNTY, Ind. — A 59-year-old woman has disappeared — her vehicle found crashed and abandoned in Wayne County.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, Lorena Scott was last seen on Saturday morning at approximately 6 a.m.
Not long later, police found Scott's gold Chevrolet Malibu crashed on New Paris Pike near Mid Drive in Wayne County. No other vehicles were found at the scene of the crash.
Scott also wasn't found, the sheriff's department said, with the Malibu being empty.
Scott remains missing as of the publishing of this article.
The sheriff's department described Lorena Scott as a 59-year-old woman with jet-black hair, brown eyes and "a noticeable hunch caused by scoliosis." She stands 5'1" tall and weighs around 100 pounds.
Scott was wearing a dark winter coat, a black t-shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes at the time she went missing.
