INDIANAPOLIS — Law enforcement is investigating a hit-and-run crash on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
According to a public police report, officers responded to the intersection of East 42nd Street and Arborcrest Drive sometime after 3:34 p.m. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department report indicates the incident police were called to the area to investigate was a hit-and-run crash involving serious bodily injury.
Officers on the scene told FOX59 and CBS4 that a moped was involved the crash. At least one person was injured during the crash.
Police told FOX59 and CBS4 that an injured individual was transported to a local hospital. The victim's condition has not yet been made available.
The report also lists a male as being the victim implicated in the crash.
