The best start in Hoosier football history is continuing to get more recognition. Indiana was ranked eighth in the College Football Playoff's first poll of the 2024 season.
This year's college football playoff is the first to feature 12 teams instead of four. Because of conference champions receiving a bye, if this week's poll was the determining factor for the final seeding, Indiana would visit Tennessee.
First-year head coach Curt Cignetti has led Indiana to dominance all season long. The Hoosiers have won all of their games by at least 14 points, and have scored 40 or more points in seven contests.
Indiana hosts Michigan at 3:30 p.m. On CBS4 on Saturday, November 9th. The Hoosiers' final two regular season games after that are at Ohio State and at home against Purdue.
