INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was shot and injured near a Dunkin' Donuts on the northeast side of Indianapolis early Wednesday evening.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched shortly after 5 p.m. to 3850 N. Shadeland Avenue, the listed address for Dunkin' Donuts, after receiving reports that a person had been shot in the area.
IMPD said officers arrived on the scene and found an individual suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
