INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting victim who walked into Eskenazi Hospital with injuries Sunday night is in critical condition.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to 720 Eskenazi Avenue after receiving a report pertaining to a walk-in person shot. When police arrived at the hospital, they located a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
IMPD indicated that the person is in critical condition. Police did not provide any information about where the shooting unfolded or when it happened.
Public police reporting systems indicate officers were called to the hospital just after 9:30 p.m.
