INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating after a male and female victim were critically hurt in a hit-and-run on Indy's west side Sunday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of North High School Road on the report of a pedestrian struck.
When officers arrived, they learned two people had been hit by a car that left the scene. They were transported to an area hospital with critical injuries, according to police.
Investigators did not give a description of the suspect vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
