CARMEL, Ind. — A Carmel man and a former member of Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam's transition team was charged for reportedly harassing his former high school principal over the telephone, according to court documents.
Liam Alexander Hansen, 18, was charged in Hamilton County Superior Court with Harassment, a Criminal Misdemeanor.
On Monday, July 8, the Carmel Police Department took a report from the alleged victim. The individual said that the evening before, they received two voicemails addressed to them from Hansen.
The first voicemail was sent at 11:25 p.m. said the following:
"Hey (redacted), I just thought I'd be the bigger man and tell you to go f*** yourself. This is Liam Hansen, have a good one. I'd like to see your head on a spike, but unfortunately it might not happen for a good 40 years. F*** you."

The second voicemail was sent at 11:27 p.m. to the victim's spouse said the following:
"Hey (redacted), you disgusting f***. I'd like to say a few words to you if you wouldn't mind. First of all, I think you're running this high school into the f***ing ground, and I don't really care because, quite frankly, I'm not there. Second of all, I'm going to try and make your life as hard as possible for the rest of my life, and I am 18 years old.

This is Liam Hansen. You can go f*** yourself, and I will be watching. Watching peacefully, watching patriotically, and watching unviolently. Ok, so you can't report me for anything. I'm going to be watching you peacefully and unviolently for the rest of your godd*mn f***ing life. Ok, so nice job a******…r*****…f***-up."
Although Hansen identified himself by name in the phone call, his phone number also matched what was on record when he attended Carmel High School.
