INDIANAPOLIS -- As individuals drive into work on Friday morning, officials with the National Weather Service office in Indianapolis said they might be driving through some fog.
According to a post on social media from NWS Indianapolis, officials are encouraging Indianapolis drivers to take extra time while driving into work Friday morning because of the fog.

The post read that visibility is expected to be reduced because of fog in some areas. Officials said that the fog should dissipate around 9 a.m. on Friday.
In the post, officials with NWS Indianapolis provided the following tips for drivers who are driving through the fog, including:
- Turn on your low-beam lights
- Drive slowly and with caution.
Officials said that Indianapolis residents should expect the rest of Friday to be a seasonably warm, yet humid, day. An isolated thunderstorm is possible Friday afternoon.
