A quiet, mild start this morning under a mostly clear sky, as temperatures hold in the 60s out-the-door! Expect a great rush hour, as fog is not an issue and roads remain nice and dry.

This afternoon will be quite toasty with highs nearing 90°, under a mix of clouds and sun, the UV Index runs very high with burn time under 20 minutes. Winds will remain light all day from the southwest at 5-10 mph.

Shower chances and a few storms return to the area tomorrow, as clouds thicken and remnants of Beryl begin to move in. Expect humid air, too, with highs in the lower 80s. Steadier rainfall builds in late Tuesday and through the day on Wednesday.

A storm threat remains, along with windier conditions and steady areas of rainfall. This could pose a flood threat for several counties with rainfall in spots up to 4" by Thursday morning. We will continue to monitor over the next 72 hours. Below are two models showing rainfall potential from now until 8:30 Wednesday night.

Back to sunshine on Thursday and Friday with seasonal temperatures to round out the workweek.
