CARMEL, Ind. — Its short stay has come to an end as Indiana's sole Wahlburgers closes its doors only a few years after opening.
The burger chain owned by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their brother Paul, who’s a chef, opened in Carmel a few years ago in 2021 but suddenly closed down permanently in recent days.

Located at 1200 S Rangeline Rd Suite, a search of the burger joint prompts a giant red "permanently closed" banner on Google. The website also lists the location as closed.
Indianapolis Business Journal said a sign located on the door of the closed restaurant reads, "Thank you to everyone who dined with us."
At this time, Wahlburgers hasn't responded to inquiries made by FOX59/CBS4 about the sudden closure.
The burger chain, which originated in Boston, Massachusetts, serves up a variety of burgers, house-made condiments, frappes, vegetarian options and more.
In the past, Wahlburgers expressed interest in opening multiple locations in Indiana. None have since come to fruition with the sole Indiana restaurant now closing its doors.
