According to court documents, on Friday, April 19, at approximately 9:17 a.m., the Muncie Police Department was dispatched to a pawn shop at the 400 block of E 13th St in Muncie on a shooting report. The video footage shows Johnson removing a steel box wrench from a basket in the store while talking to himself. Johnson then walks behind the counter, approaches a victim, and forcefully hits them in the face, reportedly chipping their teeth and causing possible permanent damage. This victim then goes to the backroom to grab a gun.

At this time, Johnson approaches a customer in the store and begins to attack them with the wrench - hitting the individual directly in the back of the head. Johnson continued to swing the wrench, narrowly missing the victim's head again. The second victim then fell to the ground, and Johnson began to hit their legs. Then, the victim who went to the backroom came out with a firearm. They shoot the gun, and Johnson falls to the ground, and the rampage comes to an end.

The video does not contain audio of the conversations between the victims and the suspect.

Johnson is held on a $75,000 cash-only bond.

This is an active investigation. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
