INDIANAPOLIS -- A semi truck ended up in a ditch next to I-65 just south of downtown Indianapolis.
According to an alert from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the incident happened around 4:40 a.m. on northbound I-65 about a mile south of the exit for Morris and Prospect streets.
Video from INDOT showed a semi truck and trailer on its side next to the interstate. Drivers on northbound I-65 dealt with slow traffic as crews worked to pull the truck out.
Indiana State Police said the driver "ran off the road." No injuries were reported. Police cars and fire trucks were at the scene, along with wreckers.
Just before 7 a.m., the trailer was upright. The scene was cleared by 7:30 a.m., with traffic moving smoothly once again.
The incident remains under investigation.
