NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- A Grammy Award-nominated artist who mixes up and blurs the boundaries of genre just announced that his new tour will be stopping in Central Indiana.
Post Malone will headline a show at the Ruoff Music Center, located at 12880 E. 146th St. in Noblesville, on Sept. 12. The Noblesville date is one of Malone's 21 scheduled concerts in the fall promoting his newest release. Presales for the concert begin on Wednesday and tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday.
This comes after Malone announced his new album "F-1 Trillion" earlier this month. The album, which is expected to be released on Aug. 16, is a departure for Malone, who is expected to focus more on the country/western genre with this release, calling the album "a collection of country songs."
Malone has begun to pivot into including the country/western genre in his repertoire over the past few months, to performing with jamgrass superstar Billy Strings at Bonnaroo in mid-June to recently releasing a song with Blake Shelton called "Pour Me A Drink." The first single from Malone's new album, "I Had Some Help" featuring Morgan Wallen, topped the charts earlier this year.
Malone, a Dallas native, first entered the music scene in 2015 with his song "Congratulations" featuring Quavo. Since then, Malone's albums have achieved back to back No. 1 debuts in the Billboard Top 200 and had multiple songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100. Some of his other songs include "rockstar" featuring 21 Savage, "Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" featuring Swae Lee and "Better Now."
“I love y’all so very much and I’m so excited to get out and play new music for you," Malone said in a news release announcing the tour.
During this tour, Malone will also play venues throughout the United States, including Fenway Park in Boston, Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
