FISHERS, Ind. — Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force arrested a man for eight counts of Child Exploitation, a Level 4 felony, and two counts of Child Solicitation, a Level 5 felony, on Thursday.
Joseph Wortman, a 33-year-old Greenfield resident, was investigated by HCMCE Task Force officers after receiving several CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to a press release, detectives were then able to receive a search warrant into Wortman's residence. There, they discovered and seized multiple digital devices that contained alleged evidence of Wortman possessing material depicting child sexual abuse.
Wortman is currently being held without bond at the Hancock County Jail. If he is convicted, he could face up to 12 years behind bars.
