LAWRENCE, IN - Lawrence Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a male in critical condition late Tuesday night.
According to Officers just before 10:55p.m. they received multiple calls of shots fired in the area of 46th and Shadeland Avenue.
When officers arrived they found a male with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
LPD have descriptions and are searching for three suspects that were seen running from the area.
Detectives are working to obtain security footage and are speaking with witnesses. Police say there were many people outside and some initially thought the shots heard were fireworks.
