INDIANAPOLIS -- An overturned box truck created a traffic headache early Thursday morning on the south side of Indianapolis.
Traffic cameras from the Indiana Department of Transportation showed the truck sitting perpendicular to the road. It happened along I-69/SR 37 northbound between County Line Road and Southport Road.
All traffic was being diverted onto County Line Road, according to INDOT. Indianapolis Metropolitan police were at the scene.
Crews were able to get the truck upright around 5:40 a.m. Traffic cameras showed a considerable amount of debris on the road.
The truck was towed away from the scene shortly after 7 a.m. INDOT indicated the road had cleared just after 8 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
