INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded to a house fire in the Geist area overnight.
Crews were dispatched just after midnight to a residence on Beam Ridge Drive. Firefighters saw heavy fire coming from the exterior of the house.
There were initial reports that someone was inside the home, but officials later said the resident was on vacation.
No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
