ANDERSON, Ind. -- Two teenagers were shot during an incident early Tuesday morning in Anderson, according to the Anderson Police Department.
At around 2:31 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the 1900 block of W 18th Street in regards to a shooting. When officers arrived, they located two teens, one identified as a 19-year-old woman and the other identified as a 16-year-old man, had been shot.
A preliminary investigation found that a number of individuals were outside a home when gunshots were fired from the street. The gunshots reportedly hit both teens.
The two teens were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are reported to be in stable condition.
Officials said that no arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
