INDIANAPOLIS - Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed early Sunday morning on Indy's near northwest side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 3 a.m., officers were called to the 3600 block of West 30th Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, but a police report shows the victim died from his injuries.
