INDIANAPOLIS — Power outages interrupted some Indianapolis Public Library services Monday night.
According to a press release, sporadic outages impacted the public library system's catalog, website, internet and phones. The release sent by library officials did not indicate exactly when all services will be restored.
A spokesperson from AES Indiana told FOX59 and CBS4 that two separate incidents affected customers living between 16th and 30th Streets and Meridian and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Streets in Indianapolis.
AES is still trying to determine exactly what caused the outages. As of 8:05 p.m., 1,724 customers in Indianapolis were without power. By 8:32 p.m., only 169 AES customers did not have power.
