INDIANAPOLIS — One person was transported to a hospital in serious condition after a family disturbance led to a stabbing.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to Hickory Knoll Mobile Home Park located near Five Points Road and E. Hanna Avenue late Wednesday morning on report of a stabbing.
Police officers on scene told FOX59/CBS4 that a man was stabbed after an alleged family disturbance and transported to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
Two male suspects allegedly fled the scene before police arrived at the mobile home.
A neighbor claims the victim was stabbed with a screwdriver. Police did not clarify the weapon used in the attack, however.
At this time, no further information has been released as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
