INDIANAPOLIS — A driver and two passengers have been taken to an Indy hospital in critical condition after a car crash on the city's north side near 62nd and Sherman.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of E. 62nd Street and N. Sherman Drive for a serious car crash.
Upon arrival, officers said they found three people inside one of the cars involved suffering from severe injuries. IMPD said the driver of that car and two passengers were taken by EMS crews to a local hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the second vehicle involved is being treated by IEMS on scene, IMPD said. Accident investigators are on scene to reconstruct and gather more information on the crash.
