INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed on the east side of Indianapolis Friday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 4:48 p.m. to the 800 block of Treyburn Green Drive in response to a person shot run. IMPD said officers arrived and found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, according to IMPD. No other information was immediately available.
