INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metropolitan police are investigating after a person was found dead after a shooting on the city's north side Monday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 7 p.m. to the 2200 block of Biscay Square after receiving reports that a person was shot.
IMPD said officers arrived and found a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. No other information was immediately available.
