Cloudy start this morning with some patchy fog in the area, as temperatures hover in the lower 40s and upper 30s. Overall, a decent start for mid-December, as a few showers may develop by mid-morning through the early afternoon with a front approaching.
A cold front this afternoon will bring an end to any light shower chances, as highs reach the upper 40s in many locations. Some clearing is likely, ending our day on a brighter note.
Skies clearing for bit tonight will bring in much colder air overnight, as lows drop into the middle 20s by sunrise...a more seasonal night expected.
Breezy conditions are expected Wednesday, as arctic air begins to work across the region. Another, stronger cold front will pass across the state bringing snow showers and bitter air late Wednesday and through Thursday. Highs on Thursday will only reach the middle 20s, as wind chills hold in the single digits and lower teens, marking the coldest day of the week. Thankfully, this shot of arctic air will be short-lived!
