INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was injured in a crash in downtown Indianapolis Saturday morning.
According to a public police report, officers responded to the intersection of East Michigan and North New Jersey Streets after they received a report that indicated a pedestrian had been struck by a driver in the area.

Per the report, police were sent to the scene just before 1 a.m. That same police report indicated officers arrested a 36-year-old man on a DWI charge.
Investigators did not provide clarification on the nature of the pedestrian's injuries. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the incident had been made available.
