CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. — A central Indiana probation officer and his wife have been arrested and charged with several felonies including welfare and Medicaid fraud.
Daniel Matz, 44, was arrested on Thursday at a home just outside of Frankfort on a warrant for various theft and fraud charges. Officials confirmed to FOX59/CBS4 that Matz is a probation officer with Clinton County.
Officers also arrested Kyleigh Matz, 33, in Frankfort on similar charges.
Clinton County officials said that while they handled the arrests, Indiana State Police's Lafayette Post was the investigating agency. The couple now faces the following charges:

- Welfare Fraud
- Aiding, Inducing or Causing Welfare Fraud
- Theft
- Fraud
- Kyleigh Matz
- Welfare Fraud (3 counts)
- Theft
- Fraud
- Medicaid Fraud
- Forgery
Both Daniel and Kyleigh have been booked into the Clinton County Jail. Online court records have not yet been updated to reflect the charges.
