BLOOMINGTON - With all this year's success, Indiana University is a football school now and preparing for its away game against Ohio State.

Fans who can't make it to Columbus will likely watch at home or at local sports bars.

One spot in B-Town where people can watch if they don’t want to travel across state lines is Nick’s English Pub.

The IU staple is one spot expecting to be packed with Hoosier fans ready for one of the biggest games yet this season.

On the wall upstairs, owner Gregg Rago has a poster from over 35 years ago documenting the last time IU beat the team, declaring them the “Buckeye Busters."

“It was at one point called the darkest day in Ohio State football history. We beat them, and that was 88,” said Rago. "So hopefully it's another darkest day in Ohio State football history.”

"I know that we can hang with Ohio State, we've proven that we can do that,” said fan Walker Lockhart.

Also on the bar walls filled with IU sports memorabilia is Lockhart’s mother. His parents met at Nick's when she was a waitress there back in the 60's.

He's planning on watching the game with her tomorrow.

“It's been a funny season in that we're all learning how to be college football fans, and so that's been really exciting to watch,” said Lockhart.

Both Rago and Lockhart are looking forward to the game with Coach Curt Cignetti leading the team.

“It’s a very refreshing, refreshing part of IU football history right now,” said Rago.

With 43 TVs inside, Rago said the pub usually has every seat taken while the Hoosiers have been on their winning streak.

“People are coming in from out of town to watch the games, especially because they can't get tickets in the stadium anymore,” he said. "We do fill up before, after and during the games."

According to him, other than inside the stadium, Nick's is the next best place to be.
