FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department announced Tuesday it is looking for a woman wanted on charges of murder and attempted murder.
Police are asking for the public to be on the lookout for Kirsten O. Sims, 33. She should be considered armed and dangerous, according to a press release from FWPD.
Indiana State Police revealed a few more details in an update Wednesday, saying Sims is wanted in connection to two separate investigations: a stabbing and a shooting. She also has a nationwide extraditable parole violation warrant, ISP said.
Sims was described in FWPD's release as 5'3" and 215 lbs with a large build, dreadlocks, brown eyes and a medium complexion. The description also mentioned she doesn't currently have a job.
Investigators did not share what specific cases Sims is allegedly linked to. Police said anyone who has information on her whereabouts is warned not to approach her, and instead call 911 or report information to Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP or on the P3 Tips app.
