Clouds will bring areas of rain by mid-morning today, as a narrow band of rain will fall and quickly move east just after lunch today. Expect sunshine to end the afternoon, along with gusty winds and seasonal temperatures. Rainfall totals will range between .10" to .20" for most, as highs reach up to 50° later today.

Tonight, colder air will seep in, as clouds slowly gather across the state. Lows tonight will drop to near 32°, with flurries/patchy drizzle developing by sunrise.

Thursday will likely bring our first snow of the season. Most of the steadier snow will not begin to fall until mid to late afternoon. A quick snow burst is expected, as temperatures hover just at or slightly above 32°.

This will result in a wet snow, reducing visibilities and slowing travel for the Thursday evening rush hour, as winds remain gusty. Snow accumulations are expected, especially for grassy areas and elevated surfaces (bridges and overpasses) first. Regardless of totals, slow travel is expected for the evening rush hour, until roads are treated.

The weekend still looks dry with milder air returning!
