CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. — The Clinton County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash that left a driver dead Saturday morning.
In a Facebook post, CCSO wrote that deputies were called to State Road 28 at County Road 1300 East around 11:42 a.m.
After investigating the scene, deputies determined the driver of a gray 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander disregarded a stop sign while travelling north on County Road 1300 East around 11:42 a.m. After driving past the stop sign, the motorist was then involved in a crash with a red 2014 Kia Soul that was heading west.
According to CCSO, the driver of the Mitsubishi was ejected from their vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The Kia's driver was transported to an area hospital. Their condition was not listed.
The investigation remains ongoing and toxicology reports are still pending, per CCSO.
