INDIANAPOLIS – Say goodbye to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum and hello to the Corteva Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center said the new partnership starts immediately (Wednesday, Nov. 13). Corteva Agriscience, an agricultural technology company headquartered in Indianapolis, agreed to a naming rights deal with the fairgrounds.

Officials said Corteva’s commitment to “excellence and innovation” aligned “perfectly” with their vision for the fairgrounds.

“Indianapolis is our home and our ties to the Hoosier state and the Indiana State Fairgrounds run deep,” said Chuck Magro, CEO of Corteva. “The Corteva Coliseum reflects an important commitment to our community and we’re grateful to be a part of such an iconic venue that means so much to our employees, friends and neighbors.”

"Ushering in this new era for our beloved Coliseum with our long-term partners at Corteva Agriscience is beyond exciting. We are so grateful for their commitment to our State, our Fairgrounds and our community. Together, we will continue to create memories and traditions for generations to come!" said Cindy Hoye, executive director of the Indiana State Fair Commission.

The fairgrounds coliseum has been around since 1939. It’s hosted multiple events, including the state basketball finals, Indiana Pacers games, ice hockey, NCAA tournament games, concerts, wrestling matches, 4-H events and more.

Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company inked a naming rights deal in 2014. The venue was known as the Pepsi Coliseum for nearly two decades before that.
