UPDATE: Columbus police confirmed the missing 12-year-old has been found safely.

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Police are searching for a 12-year-old boy missing out of Columbus Monday night.
The Columbus Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a 12-year-old, who was last seen walking north in the area of Rocky Ford and Candlelight Drive around 8 p.m. Monday.
CPD described the boy as a 5'0" male weighing 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a teal long-sleeve shirt, a black and white flannel and dark blue shoes.
CPD added that the 12-year-old is deaf.
