As forecast, Sunday started soggy, with many spots receiving healthy rainfall. Most stayed under an inch of rain, but it was still all needed rainfall. However, this will not be the story for all-day Sunday. Clearing skies will quickly become the story. The clearing is already taking place throughout Illinois and states west.

I anticipate a good amount of sunshine returning to our skies in the afternoon. This will help surge high temperatures well into the 60s. Numbers like this are still a good 8-10° above average for this time of the year. The roof will be closed for today's Colts game, but tailgating should be decent, with some lingering showers at the beginning.

This week has several sunny days in store starting Veteran's Day Monday. Additionally, the mild stretch of weather will also continue. Through yesterday, it's the warmest year to date (since January 1st) on record with an average temperature of 59.8°. It's a similar story for Fall. Since September 1st, Indianapolis has been running as the 3rd warmest to date. While we'll have a few dips in the temperatures, they will not be big. A few days will have highs in the 50s but that's normal for this time of the year.
