INDIANAPOLIS — A motorcycle crash on Interstate 465 northbound near Lawrence caused major traffic tie-ups Saturday evening.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation's traffic map, I-465 northbound was closed at mile marker 37 as of 5:28 p.m. Per INDOT, the crash impacted traffic on 465 from East 71st Street to Interstate 69.
Public emergency reporting systems indicate first responders were called to the area around 5:12 p.m. on a report of a motorcycle crash. Law enforcement has yet to report whether or not anybody was injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash is also unknown at this time. As of 8:12 p.m. Saturday, I-465 northbound was fully open at mile marker 37.
