INDIANAPOLIS — A winning Powerball ticket purchased in Greenwood in May is set to expire on Monday, the Hoosier Lottery announced on Saturday.
The ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased ahead of the May 6 drawing at Superior Discount Beverage in Greenwood, located in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 31 South. According to a press release, it matched four out of five numbers, as well as the Powerball.
Hoosier Lottery said the winning ticket must be claimed no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The ticket holder should head to the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis to receive their payout.
Hoosier Lottery also added that the ticket holder should keep their ticket in a secure place and consider meeting with a financial advisor before claiming their cash. They can also contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at (800) 955-6886 for further instructions.
