UPDATE: Dylan Clubs was taken into custody at approximately 10:49 a.m. on Friday.
EDINBURGH, Ind. — Police are searching for a man after he escaped from an Edinburgh jail, according to the Indiana Department of Corrections.
Officials said that he "walked away" from the Edinburgh correctional facility early Friday at approximately 8 a.m.
The escapee, Dylan Clubs, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine in Blackford County.
Clubs was previously convicted in Jay County multiple times for Dealing in Methamphetamine and Possession of a Controlled substance.
His convictions date back to 2014 and continue through 2024.
Authorities are asking individuals to contact police immediately if they see Clubs.
