INDIANAPOLIS - Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning.
According to IMPD, officers responded to the 10 block of South Denny St around 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there was a report of shots fired in the area earlier in the night, but officers could not find anything.
IMPD say they do have witnesses cooperating and are searching for any footage that may provide information on the suspect.
