INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Transportation confirmed on Friday that a mid-afternoon crash involving semis slowed traffic on Interstate 65 southbound near downtown Indianapolis.
According to INDOT, the crash occurred sometime before 3:10 p.m. near mile marker 111.3. The crash impacted traffic between Market and Washington Streets.
Traffic in the area was slowed for more than two hours, and when the crash first happened, all lanes were blocked.
The roadway fully reopened sometime after 6 p.m. Indiana State Police confirmed nobody was seriously injured during the crash.
