INDIANAPOLIS — Allison Transmission will expand its manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, to support the increasing global demand for Allison fully automatic transmissions.
The investment of more than $100-million will double the existing manufacturing presence in Chennai, according to a press release from Allison Transmission.
The expansion is set to increase production capacity for Allison's on-highway fully automatic transmission portfolio.
